Amber and Harley’s wedding day at the Cordelle was filled with charm. From the soft blush tones to the groom’s bourbon bar, this delightful couple went above and beyond to make their guests’ experience top notch. Amber and Harley were married in front of thick ivory draping backlit with rows of vertical string lights in the Great Hall. Once they had said their vows and shared their first kiss as husband and wife, guests were ushered to cocktail hour on the lawn while the Firefly team successfully flipped the Cordelle from a beautiful ceremony area to a festive reception space complete with a 6-piece band.
(*Planner scoop: We had two rows of draping and vertical string lights. The first was the altar backdrop, and the second was against the back wall of the venue and served as a backdrop for the band. The altar draping also functioned to hide the band’s instruments so they could soundcheck early in the day, thus allowing us to quickly move the altar draping and execute a seamless flip.)
Guests were then invited back inside for dinner and lots and lots of dancing! What a breathtaking couple both inside and out. The night ended with a radiant sparkler exit and a horse drawn carriage ride to the couple’s downtown hotel.
